Palliative and End of Life Care – Patient Forum
NHS Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes Integrated Care Board, together with partners, invites patients, carers, family members, and anyone with an interest in palliative and end-of-life care to join regular online meetings. These forums provide an opportunity to hear about current and future plans, share your experiences, and help shape the way services are delivered.
Palliative care is about improving the quality of life for people with life-limiting illnesses by addressing their physical, psychological, social, and spiritual needs at any stage of illness. End-of-life care is a type of palliative care specifically provided in the last year of life, focusing on comfort and support as death approaches.
