Kempston Youth Group

Weekly youth club, open to young people between the ages of 12-18 (up to 25 with additional needs). Open every Monday 5-7pm. 

The session will last 2 hours. Please arrive at the time of your session as there is nowhere to wait prior to the session starting. You will need to wear a mask unless you are exempt. You will be asked later on in the booking if there is a reason you can’t wear a mask and if there is anything we can do to help ensure you remain safe during the session. Please bring your own water bottle and note that food is not permitted in the session.

On arrival, please come to the entrance where you will be signed in, your temperature taken and asked to either wash your hands or use antibacterial hand sanitizer.

At the end of the session, you will be asked to wash your hands or use hand sanitizer before leaving and then will need to leave the centre. Please make sure you can return home or someone can collect you at this time.

Later in the booking you will be asked some questions about if you have had any Covid-19 symptoms or been in contact with anyone who has Covid-19 or symptoms. We ask that you answer these questions honestly. If you have had any of the above, the Lead youth worker will contact you to discuss when and where this happened to understand the circumstances. If it is safe to do so, (for example you have had symptoms and a Covid-19 test that came back negative) you will be allowed to attend the session. If not, you will not be able to attend for that week and possibly the following week, but support will be offered online instead.

You will not be able to attend the session if you have a high temperature and/or show any other symptoms of Covid-19. If you develop these symptoms during the session you will be isolated and a parent called to take you home.
